APR has been rock solid for 25Kish miles for me in S FL heat. Consistent rapid heat dissipation (compared to stock), wouldn't drive a stage 2 (or higher) car in ambient temps like down here without an IC upgrade. I've watched oil temps drop from 225+ after cruising at 80ish for an hour down to 210 in < 1-2 minutes, at 90+ ambient temps. Seems to work for my setup.

APR fits like a glove, no matter if you have the “ribbed” end tank radiator or revised “smooth” end-tank radiator. Some others need dremeling and/or tell you in the fine print that they don’t fit certain radiators. I installed an APR IC on my previous .:R and also on my current one, and each time it installed without any fuss.
It was on 4thgear Every pull was after a reset I wanted to see if the APR Intercooler would keep up and wouldn\u2019t drop power after a couple pulls and it did
FWIW, I got an APR Stage 1+ tune on my '13 CC at about 30k miles. Blew one of the stock coils within a month. Replaced with red tops and new plugs and have been good since then (19k miles).
I'm glad to hear more positive results with the APR IC! I'm going to experiment with how much my fueling setup likes ethanol, but I'll probably still get a simple wmi setup just to drop IATs. I went out and did a few pulls tonight and holy **** this car is pulling strong.
12k+ miles later and the turbo is working great, with a single caveat. Every so often I will get some turbo surge under WOT high boost conditions.
The turbocharger that APR uses is an actual Borg Warner unit that they modify the housing on. We never have to do any modifying of the APR K04 or the downpipe when installing them.
I have 40k on my car (30k on stage 2) and it's flawless.
DO NOT BUY APR COIL PACKS they are fun but life of It them are terrible stay stock!
APR coils lasted almost a year (5/6000 miles) when I pushed it and let go of the pedal. CEL would flash and random cylinders misfire.
