Best Brake pads for Volkswagen Golf

I replaced the pads on with Endless MX-72. Similar progressive bite to OEM, just more and WAY more thermal capacity. They feel like the ultimate brake pad. Using OEM rotors, I've had zero \"warping\" since switching over. This leads me to think that the rotors aren't actually warping but the nature of the OEM pads leads to pad deposits on the rotors. I get close to 60,000 Miles out of a set and have never considered another pad after discovering them.

The e-Golf still uses the friction brakes to bring the car to a complete stop. Aggressive stopping also requires the friction brakes, which I do occasionally. Between those to, the brakes seem to avoid any significant rust build up.

I switched to Akebono ceramic compound after about six months of trying the Hawk HPS street pads. Performance is on par with OEM but I was looking for something that has less brake dust.

The Red stuff pads, no squeaking, rubbing, noise, cracking or uneven wear.

312 upgrade. Stoptech slotted rotors and EBC Redstuff pads.

So for approximately $300 I got much better components. Which are MUCH better than stock and improved feel and effectiveness. ECS Tuning cross drilled and slotted rotors(288mm) EBC Red Stuff

I upgraded to the 312 and am happy with the change, it is less grabby.

I was very very happy with the Hawks setup... but I did run into some fade in aggressive downhill run, which could have been the pads or the fluid.

I'm running stop-tech sport pads and easily have eaten away 50% of the pad after 1 track-day - which I skipped two sessions of.

My front pads were noisy, kept the front wheels covered in dust and suffered from crystallisation due to severe driving conditions (temperature, humidity and slopes). The noise began at 1500mi and now at 6800mi it is so loud that it can be heard from 60ft away.
