We had 3 windshields replaced with OEM. The 4th was replaced with Pilkington brand. It’s last longer than the first 3 combined plus. It’s taken rocks that would have broken any of the OEMs. There was NO problem calibrating the eyesight.
Subaru parts reviews
Só Motul 8100 3w 40, a cada 6000 KM. Não acho que vale a pena economizar nisso.
Get aftermarket, it's superior. I've had my fair share of replacements and aftermarket held up much better. Pilkington is the brand you want if given a choice. Zero issues with Eyesight.
I love the Nokian, I just put Encompass Aw02 on my Crosstrek what a difference they ride softer track on rails dead quiet
Subarus are honestly for the most part pretty easy to work on. Oil + filter changes are very easy. 30 ft/lbs, only use oem or wix filter imo
I’ve gone with ceramic pads on my cars. Minimal brake dust, low brake fade, quiet.
From experience with Gislaved on a WRX, Blizzak WS90 on another car, Blizzak DMV2 on a large diesel SUV, and Viking Contact 7s on a “regular SUV” and a parent’s older car, my personal favourite are the continental VC7s for all around winter.
Changing the oil today, I found that the Fram PH6017A seems to be an almost exact match to the one that came on the Sambar during import. The threads were a few mm difference on the new one.
My wife had a 2020 Forester. First windshield cracked within 3 weeks of getting the car, and we bought it right off the boat. Went through five windshields in 3.5 years.
I’ve had 2 windshields replaced within 6 months in 2021.
