Brembo Brake caliper

I have 2006 porsche cayenne turbo calipers on my r32 skyline. It's a simple bracket that allows you to use 370z track rotors. The calipers are 6 piston brembo units. They were 100 CAD each at a specialty wreckers.

Pros: inexpensive, 6 piston

DBA Brake discs

Run DBA on my R32 GTR. Lot of Autobahn shenanigans and terrorizing small twisty village roads.... they're great!

Pros: they're great

DBA Brake discs

DBA is fine as an upgrade, can highly recommend Stoptech as wel. If combined with PFC pads (not too agressive, I think .9 or .10/.11 compound) and new brake fluid + braided lines it feels so much better and safer.

Pros: feels much better, safer
Vehicle: Nissan Skyline

Rating 4.0

I have project Mu pads and rotors, front and back on my 33 GTR. They’re fantastic products. But be warned, they’re gonna squeak. Sometimes badly. Having said that, it’s *because they’re good* that they squeak. They’re pretty much racing brakes, and if you’re not hearing them up high enough, they’re gonna squeak. So be prepared for that.

Pros: fantastic products, good braking
Cons: squeaking, racing brakes
Vehicle: Nissan Skyline

Project Mu Brake pads

I got PMu Street Comp pads and rotors on mine, about a couple weeks ago. They are solid, definitely highly recommend the brand.

Firestone Tires

For performance tires, the best bang for buck is the Firehawk Indy 500. I have them on my Skyline and they transformed the feel. There's more grip, I'm more confident in it, and they didn't cost a ton of money. Plus they look awesome.

Pros: more grip, confident feel
Cons: cost a ton of money

NITTO Tires

I run NT05 on my R32. I'm in AZ so rain isn't much of a worry, but the times I have driven it in the rain, I never had much of an issue. I think when they wear, and they will much more quickly than your average tire, they will become very tricky to use in the wet.

Pros: no issue in rain
Cons: tricky when worn
