We had a warranty and it paid to have the alternator and starter replaced and I only had to pay the $150 deductible.

I can say from personal experience, CC2's handled really well in snow, ice, heavy rain and tornadoes in an older sorento.

I took off my KO2s from my Sorento. They wore well and still had useable tread after 55k miles. But I was tired of the noise and ride on the highway. I put on a set of these Wildpeak tires and am VERY satisfied. They are pretty quiet, ride nice, and are darn good on wet, muddy, or snowy roads.

I took my 2024, Kia, Sorento Hybrid in for it's 1st oil change at 7600 miles. KIA recommends 8000K miles.

The old Kia Sorento with the 3.5 V6 was bad about disintegrating the variable intake manifold runner linkage bushings, causing a vacuum leak. Last time I did one, a metal replacement manifold with the butterflies, linkage and actuators was $15 from Kia.

Try tapping on the starter with a hammer while trying to start. If this works you need a new started.

Learned that the battery in the Sorento was incorrect. Replaced with correct battery. All is right in the world.

I’m already on my second replaced windshield with a crack already in it. Kia glass is weak as shit. 2 weeks ago I barely heard a rock tink off my glass and it cracked ( I was able to get it filled before it spread) but I’ve already got another from earlier this winter.

Hyundai's and Kia's absolutely do not play nice with aftermarket alternators such as Napa and Autozone. I tried them both and they failed within days (Napa was about 1 week) I finally installed the Hyundai/Kia part and it has been fine since.
