After getting tired of constantly replacing the Bosch 19" wiper refills I tried the Valeo 800 series 19" wiper blades. These are much improved and last a lot longer than the Bosch refills.
We dont need new wipers on Tiguan yet but I have been always buying Valeo OE wipers for my CC. I also dont like bulky adapters they fit just like factory.
I agree, I run Valeo ones i buy from FCP, they are pretty good, factory style and fitment, plus they lasted me 3 years before i replaced them because they were making noisy glass farting sounds so i gave em the heave ho. I think the part that keeps em quiet is the slippery teflon-like coating that when they wear out they start making noise when the bare rubber starts to show. 3 years not bad on a $17 set, Ive had OEM Toyota ones on my 4Runner barely last me 10 months before getting super streaky or noisy.
When it comes to buying OEM like wipers for my previous VWs, I always had good luck with Valeo brand wipers.
Valeo (OEM to VW) on ECS Tuning, $30 USD for the set. Direct installation, no goofy adapters to mess with.
These Valeos are a direct OEM replacement and have been great for me for a year.
Ordered these from Valeo (VM387) for my R and my gf's MK7 GTI. They already came with the adapters installed and took all of 2 minutes to replace them. They perform great too. https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B00SRACAOO/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o06_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
This came off the passenger side of my car. The wiper is made by Valeo, a huge yurrupean car part supplier. The replacement blade I bought wasn't curved.
maybe it’s just tesla wipers suck and leave streaks. Mine get super foggy at night in Florida.
I hope others read this and follow suit. The Valeo OEM ones are so superior to the aftermarket Bosch ones. Even brand new, Bosch are rubbish.
