Switching to single beam wipers helped from the crappy oem segmented frame ones.

So I swapped in some Trico Ultras also from RockAuto and my initial perception of them is that they're a big improvement.

I got Trico heavy duty from Rockauto last week and so far very satisfied

I eventually ended up finding a set of Trico Silicone Blades at Napa, and those have worked significantly better for me. I’ve had them since March of this year, and they’re still decently solid.

Pros: worked significantly better

Cons: some skips from time to time

Oddly enough, Discount Tire has OE Trico wipers that I’ve been getting 1.5 to 2yrs out of.

Pros: last 1.5 to 2 years

The best wipers I’ve ever bought were from rockauto. Trico extended life and they don’t cost any more than rainx ones from Walmart would.

Then OEM blades are trash. I bought the Trico Beam Extended Life and they’ve been excellent so far.

I've had the best luck with Trico Hybrids from RockAuto. They are like $6 each. They outperform and last longer than any I have bought from the parts store.

I've tried 3 brands of aftermarket wiper blades that claimed to fit the rear wiper of the ID4 and none did.

One was a Trico I bought from Amazon and when I requested a return in the app, Amazon refunded it and told me to keep it. I just cut off the plastic chunk at the end that prevented it from fitting and made it work (it stays in place but fits "sloppy".)

Pros: made it work

Cons: fits sloppy
