Wiper blades Trico or Goodyear

OK, I couldn't take it anymore. I went to Advanced Auto Parts and got new blades. Their in-store system does not have 2019 Jetta's in it's database. Luckily I had my trusty iPhone and Google. Trico "Onyx" high-performance beam blades 26-240 (24" driver's side blade) 26-190 (19" passenger side blade). Cost = Too much. $41.00 - but I've got too much going on right now to schedule a trip to the stealership - so I paid for the convenience of the local parts store. Ease of install = RTFM and you'll be OK. These blades require you swap a supplied adapter into them. The arms are the narrow push button arms, so just follow the instructions with the blades to install the right adapter. Also, read the VW owner's manual to put the arms into "service" position. All easy if you read the manuals. Blades seem great - no rain today, but multiple applications of wiper fluid and using the blades returns, well, nothing. Dead silent.

I've been very happy with the Trico Onyx blades.

Ended up getting some Tricos and they've been awesome so far.

Put them on my LEAF tonight and used them in the rain and they were perfect! They fit neatly without touching when not in use and don't streak.

I recommend the Trico blade. My OEM blade skipped and made a lot of noise. Now that I have the Trico it works perfectly. Same for the windshield wipers.

Just installed Trico Ice wipers on my car and they fit perfect. Watched the video on the Trico site for narrow arm push button, did the replacement B/C adaptor, threw away the piece they said to do and BAM, fit like a glove. No stealership here!

Went to Autozone and picked up some Trico blades. I had to use the second adapter, but it really wasn't that difficult. I'm not sure what the big deal is? It took me less than 5 minutes to change both...

Front blades - yes 26,18. I got Trico Flex. Both had the tab you had to remove to use the 19mm "push button" (type defined in instructions) as opposed to the larger 22mm. My wiper instructions suggest that a penny will fit in 22 mm openings where it will no in the 19 mm, which again is ours. These have been on for about 3 months and no issues. They gave me Trico Force blades, which the website says will fit my 2008 B7 A4. I just tried to install them and it's clearly not a fit. I've scoured the web with no luck finding anyone that has been able to fit them. As I look at the mounting, it looks like I can pry out the old plastic Bosch swivel mount and put these in, but don't want to break anything.
