the value blade are pretty good blades for the price. I replace mine 2x a year. Thats not bad for $15 blades.
Some of the best wipers I've ever used were from my local Mazda dealership in Edmonton, Canada. They were $12 each and are still working surprisingly well after a whole year.
They are definitely slower than my previous vehicle, but I haven’t found them unsafe
New blades makes it better for a little while, but it's not long before the driver's side in particular streaks and doesn't make contact very well.
I am currently riding passenger in a terrestrial downpour in Florida. The highest speed if these wipers is a joke. I have had many cars before this and this “high speed” was a lot closer to the mid speed of my previous vehicles. Super disappointed Mazda thought this was enough.
I've never owned a vehicle that didn't eventually come across a rain storm that required a pull over because the wipers cant keep up at some point you do just have to pull over and wait it out. Had one so bad in my Cx30 where visibility was so low it disabled all safety sensors and spit up a message on the dash to be careful since they were inactive.
driving on the highway on my CX-30 during a very sudden and heavy storm at night was a pretty scary experience for me. The whole time I was wondering - is everyone else seeing that little?
I just bought my 2024 and experienced my first heavy rain. It was difficult. I also noticed the wiper high speed wasn't nearly as fast as my previous cars. We get semi- frequent heavy rainstorms here, so it does bother me.
