Wiper blades Bosch or OEM Mazda

I have Bosch Icons on my car that are a year and a half old and still work like new. I park outside as well.

Bosch and Rain X have done well by me.

I switched to Bosch on all our vehicles, every month I will clean the blades with silicone and clay bar the windshield. The oldest pair is almost 4 years old and they still perform great.

Bosch icon are the best wiper blades on the market and it isn’t even close. They cost more because they are that much better

So into like the Bosch icons. Best I ever did out of a set was 110,000 miles in a western star in owned but I usually on both cars and big trucks replace them at least once a year. Every week on the truck I wipe the blades down with alcohol and probably every 2 weeks indonthe cars (23 Impreza and 22 outback limited XT) never have bad performance out of them.

Since buying my wife's 2004 Outback in 2012, I've always used Bosch Evolutions. Living in the PNW and the torrential downpours, one of the best blades I've used.

Just my opinion but as someone who has tried a number of wipers and fluid over the years, I feel the best stuff out there when it comes to fluid is the pre-mixed 20/10 brand green fluid and when it comes to wiper blades, Bosch Icon have proven to be the most reliable.

I don't have anything to add other than to confirm that the #6 adapter that comes with Bosch wipers simply does not fit. In my case, I bought the Bosch Snow Driver wipers, and like the OP said, if you install the adapter alone, it fits great, but if you attach the blade, it bulges EVER SO SLIGHTLY and will not fit. So it appears to be across the board with Bosch wipers, not just the Clear Advantage models. I spent hours futzing with it, and no luck. Such a shame, Bosch truly makes excellent blades. I have a 2019 VW Atlas and have been hunting for the perfect wiper blade. I thought I dound it in the Bosch brand but alas that was short lived when I purchased a second set and they ended up smearing.
