Had the Tesla for 3 months and I had to replace my windshield already. I’d say it’s worth it.

Pros: worth it
Cons: windshield replaced quickly

The windshield protection was a lifesaver, I picked up my car last week and got a crack the other day while driving thankfully they gave a month free with pickup so it was covered. I’d recommend 100%

Pros: lifesaver, fully covered
Cons: windshield cracked quickly

Windshield - absolutely. I was thinking of getting it but procrastinated…literally got my first windshield incident at 25K miles. I had to pay $500 out of pocket plus $250 for a rental.

Pros: absolutely worth it
Cons: expensive out of pocket
Mileage: 40233 km

My Model Y 2026 became sorta like this so I used a razor and I was able to scrape some. And I used a microscope to see what it was and couldn’t figure out what it was.

Turns out it was tiny particles of microfiber being stuck due to static and it was very difficult to get off, because it isn’t glue or just sitting there, but stuck there by static electricity. U can’t feel it, and can’t wipe off with ur finger.

I used monitor cleaning spray because they have anti-static stuff on it. Then used Invisible Glass. And they came off.

Pros: particles came off with special spray
Cons: microfiber particles stuck by static, difficult to remove

I have this on my 2020 MS but it happened after I drove in a windstorm in Arizona. It’s pitting. Unfortunately not quite bad enough to get a new windshield.

Cons: pitting, not bad enough for replacement

My Bronco will be two years old in January. Its windshield is 3 months old... The windshield before that made it to 6 months old, AND the windshield before that was 3 months old....

I live in Alberta. No windshields survive more than 2-3 years at best. Mine lasted 3 months before it got hammered by a cobble off a gravel truck.

Cons: windshields don't survive long
