Brand is Pilkington (OEM) without the Honda logo. Mine doesn't have any sensors on the windshield (LDW).
The last was a Pilkington and has lasted twice as long as all the OEM combined!
Go aftermarket. Pilkington if you have a choice, but any aftermarket will likely be better than OEM (Carlex). Zero issues with eyesight.
requested a genuine Kia replacement so it still looks factory. Safelite. They did a good job.
For manufacturers, Pilkington and PGW (Pittsburgh Glass Works) make the best.
Aftermarket all the way. It's more durable than OEM. If you have an option, Pilkington seems to be the best through various user reports. I went through 3 replacements with my '19 Legacy and aftermarket is definitely better.
When I broke mine the repair shop installed "yesglass" It's a Pilkington brand, but worse on paper.
I got a pilkington replacement from a local auto glass shop. I'm seeing some distortions in the glass as a scan across the windshield, so I have reason to doubt the quality of pilkington glass.
We’ve had horrible luck with pilkington delivering damaged glass in the last few months. Just last week it took them FOUR attempts to deliver the windshield for an odyssey. It gets old real fast
So I used a company besides safelite to replace my windshield because they stressed that they only use OEM glass, but after they replaced it, its stamped Pilkington instead of Mazda, and while the glass says its HUD rated I felt like my eyes were straining to look at it.
