Forester pros: great Cargo space(same as a utility truck), high of the ground, very big windshield with little visibility problems
My suggestion is to put in a claim to your insurance company and insist on a replacement with a genuine Honda OEM, (Original Equipment Manufacture), windshield.
Good luck in this, had a 2018 Accord and had a "cheaper" windshield installed and it never calibrated/worked correctly. went and got the factory 3x the price and calibrated and all is good.
I have a 2025 Forester , had to replaced windshield within the first 2 months of owning the vehicle. Waited 2.5 months for a windshield and now I have a small Crack only god knows how. Ridiculous.
In my very recent experience, Subaru glass is caca.
Bro I have bad news for you, forget about ten years from now, *they don't even support the car today*. I brought it to my Honda dealership where I bought it for a cracked windshield and they turned me away and said they cant do windshields on it.
Mine was delaminating with 38k miles Subaru replaced it even though I was out of the warranty time period
Subaru glass is really thin especially if you have eyesight. Not good in a low car but it is what it is.
i wish i knew forester windshields chip and crack easily. my 24 forester limited has 26k miles on it. there's three large chips in the windshield and hundreds of small flecks missing.
I finally went aftermarket for the battery and windshield replacement that last time and they did seem like upgrades. If you're having issues, don't go back to OEM replacements given that they're garbage.
