OEM Subaru parts are cheap as hell compared.
14K miles here, road-tripped across US once and commute 5 days a week about 40 minutes. No cracks or chips yet since 2023.
I am looking at replacing my windshield with an aftermarket product to see if it’s a quality issue.
My wife had a 2020 Forester. First windshield cracked within 3 weeks of getting the car, and we bought it right off the boat. Went through five windshields in 3.5 years.
I’ve had 2 windshields replaced within 6 months in 2021.
My 21 OB is on it's 3rd.
I have had two cracked windshields on my Impreza, and never on any other car I've owned...
2021 outback onyx and we are on our third windshield after only 40k. Never had a windshield problem with an 01’ Nissan xterra that we drove to 150k and an 07’ accord that we drove to 110k. Subaru has an issue for sure.
My oem glass cracked easily when the very first small rock flew into my windshield.
