Windshield OEM Hyundai or OEM KIA

Mine has a small chip on the lower end of the windshield but that’s been it. I also live in an area where we use sand and gravel on our roads during the wintertime. My Mazda3 has gotten beat because of this, so it’s been nice to see this Palisade windshield holding up.

I live in a place that breaks windshields frequently. Have had 3-4 major hits on my ioniq over the last 2 years, but no cracks. I’d say the windscreen is probably better than the other cars i’ve had.

Personally, I think the Kia windshields are on the thinner side. I have over 40K on my Carnival and no cracks whatsoever.

This happened to me too with my 2025 EX.

We’ve had a 2025 Kia Carnival EX for a little more than 4 months and less than 4,000 miles. Twice in the past month we’ve had a rock from the highway flip up and crack the windshield. We hadn’t even had a chance to schedule the first small repair when this second (very large) crack happened.

We had an issue like this with our 2020 Kia Telluride, where you could tell how cheap and thin the new Windshield was. One little chip and it was already running through out the whole Windshield; it was a really soft hit too.

On my 5th windshield in my ‘21.

Palisade has a notoriously crack-prone windshield. Our '22 has had 3 separate chips/cracks and 1 total replacement.

Mine just cracked. Is definitely unusual

i just had mine chipped today.. Hyundai claimed there was a small impact and with the cold and windshield heater it cracked..
