Water pump OEM BMW or GMB

My water pump lasted 420,000km

My water pump went out at 155k, 2006 BMW 325i auto

I’m at 180k, holding strong

My 330i started throwing codes around 135k. Replaced it for peace of mind and it turned out to be the original. I’ve heard somewhere that the water pump used in the 2006 325 and 330i is a bit different and lasts longer

Original water pump, lasted to 167k!

My experience with the N52 was great honestly. I owned a 2007 328i from 2007-2019 and put over 120,000 miles on it. The only engine issues it had were the water pump failing at 90,000, and the oil filter housing gasket leaking.

I have their water pump on my Rx7, it's been A-Okay for over 3 years.

Excellent time to learn to do it yourself and buy a $65 water pump and timing belt kit. Dirty cheap for the miata. Just find a kit with a GMB water pump and a name brand belt.

Melling and Aisin are both premium WPs. Airtex is pretty good. GMB is ok.

I put in a GMB in my '02 two years ago, and it's leaking already.
