My avid ascends have been great for the last couple runs. I am at 225k miles almost. Had three pair. Only complaint is that I didn't get very near the advertised warranty mileage. More like 50k per set.

Pros: great for last runs
Cons: low mileage per set
Mileage: 362102 km

YOKOHAMA Tires

I bought the cheapest tires I could and drove like 1500 miles every 2 weeks... South Texas to New Mexico oilfield

Couldn't be more pleased though as a general rule sport "summer" tires generally don't do as well in the rain as all seasons so be warned... they were fine but not as good as the yokohama all seasons they replaced

Pros: pleased with cheap tires
Cons: not good in rain

I remember back in the day getting a set of 352's because I liked how they looked and Butler Tire had a discount on them, mine weren't so wide though, just 195/60 --- the review below is accurate, they were LOUD on asphalt but good in the wet and excellent on dirt/gravel, had them on a Saab 900 that I'd take offroad quite a bit.

Pros: good in the wet, excellent on dirt/gravel
Cons: loud on asphalt
Vehicle: Saab 900

I have Maxxis Razors Mt on my truck. Great in the snow, mud, and quiet, no drone on the hi-way.

Pros: great in snow, mud
Cons: no drone

Maxxis Tires

DHRs are grippy as hell but are not fast rolling. I swapped out for DHF and DHR to see about getting some extra grip and it was an absolute disaster when it came time to pedal. Ended up leaving the DHF on but putting the DHR back on the rear. I feel like it was a good compromise.

Pros: extra grip
Cons: not fast rolling

YOKOHAMA Tires

Same, bought 4 Yokohama tires a while back and ever since they’re making this buzzing noise when driving around 120-140 on the highway. According to the nearby tyre shop it could be because of how the profile on the tires are, Yokohama and so Yokodrama, hence the tyre shop.

Pros: buzzing noise
Cons: profile on the tires
