Tires YOKOHAMA or Kumho

YOKOHAMA Tires

Had one of those Pathfinders. Thirsty, but it'll go until you're bored. Massive ground clearance, and handles super well for some reason. Had Yokohama Geolandar ATs on it and it could do anything in any conditions.

Pros: massive ground clearance, handles well
Cons: thirsty

Kumho Tires

Instead of mixing them look into Kumho Wintercraft Plus and get a set of 4. I just bought 215/60/16 at 100€ a tire.

They scored really good (3rd out of 50) on Autobild’s latest test and performed better than some of the big names.

Pros: scored really good

I get Yokohamas from Discount tire and they've been great in the winter. I'm on my 2nd set. Good price.

Pros: great in the winter, good price

YOKOHAMA Tires

I had the Firestone at2 this size and didn't like the handling, the sidewall was too soft, I found a set of 17 inch TRD sport wheels and now run 265/65/17 geolander g015 and absolutely love them

Pros: love the handling
Cons: sidewall too soft
Vehicle: Toyota

YOKOHAMA Tires

I still love the R1Rs, but they are not good in the wet, IMO. I'll throw in a +1 for the Yoko AD09s.... they grip somewhat better than the R1R and are way, way better in the rain.

Pros: grip somewhat better
Cons: not good in wet

Kumho Tires

Got a new set of Kumho TA51a tires 6 months ago, 3K miles in, the tread depth was already down to about half, to 6/32 ", Wth with this tread wear?

I just do normal city driving, nothing crazy, and all 4 wheels are perfectly aligned.

Cons: rapid tread wear
Mileage: 4828 km
