I run Yoko Advan APex AD08Rs on the track and love them. Very sticky, very consistent, great track tires for wear and consistent performance. They last me about 14-18 track days (about a year of tracking for me).
On the street, they seem to work well, maybe a bit less grip than the OE tires when accelerating, but I don’t push it too hard on public roads so it’s tough to judge performance. They aren’t any noisier than the Continentals; if anything they might be a bit quieter.
Great set of tires, I have used multiple sets. Quiet on the road, works well in the wet, and works great for a lapping tire as well and a fraction of the price of its Michelin counterparts.
Just got rid of my Nittos for the Advans, so far a better tire. Best part is one of the few tires in the OE size that has a 25k mileage warranty.
Yokohama ADVAN Sport A/S. I've had them on there for 3 years, I've been happy. I live in a place that doesn't get incredibly cold or snowy, more like 3 seasons with occasional freezing temps, so they do well in those conditions.
Yokohama G015, has cool looking sidewalls, but quiet like standard passenger cars, can still do a surprising amount of light-offroad, great in rain.
On 2nd set of Yokohama advans. Much better than OEMs
Am running Yoko's Apex Summer Tires. Very pleased on my 2017 Touring.
From what I can gather, the 195/65 14 I have on there now are fairly stiff. Not as stiff as I'd like though. I still get a little plowing fron the front end on some onramps, but maybe a couple more PSI will help that. Of course, what I have to compare it to are a set of Falken Azenis, so really, there is no comparison.
I found them to be pretty garbage for traction even on dry pavement, but they were quiet and smooth and lasted very well.
