the VREDESTEIN QUATRAC are 129 and served me very well. great in snow. technically an all season tire and they are a tiny bit loud. great tire though. great lifespan and if you’re having heavy snow and rain they work fantastically for VT winters
Got the Vredestein Ultrac Pros. They have been great tires. When I did some research before purchasing I found that they have been in Europe for years now and just started selling here a year or so ago. They are grippy, quiet, have been great in the Florida weather, and they look nice. People said they are trying to move into the higher end tire market with prices a bit cheaper than the other makers. I recommend them to every WRX owner that asks about tires.
i have the vredesteins on my 2024 oem's. i used it last winter in the east coast. we barely had snow but it performed great either way.
I have the Quatracs for 3 years now and done 55k kms on them. Just now I can feel that they don't grip as well as they used to on cold, wet road. I had the same experience with every tyre after 3 years, so it was expected. I am very satisfied with them.
Vredestein Hypertrac AS. They are an all season performance tire. Drove in all sorts of ice and snow last winter including driving up my mountain of a driveway. They are quiet, handle great and superb in the rain. My subie is a little snow machine, it is pretty amazing.
I'm currently on Vredestein Ultrac Pros and I'm very happy with them. I would say they're 90% of PS4S for 50% of the price. They're quieter and more comfortable than the stock Pzeros. I highly recommend them.
I have found on my '25 SE 4Motion, that just going into the custom section of the menu, adjusting the steering and changing the OEM tires to Grand Touring all-seasons (Vredestein HiTrac) has made a world of difference in control, handling and enjoyment of my Taos.
Been using my Vredstein HiTracs on my 2018 Rav4 for about 4 years now. I was very pleased with the overall performance of the Vreidsteins especially when they were new, handling was fairly confidence inspiring for what my car is, OK comfort, a bit noisy on the highway but all around were a worthwhile purchase for my needs.
Anyway, for what it is worth, I tried the 275/35ZR-21 Vredestein Ultrac Vorti+ XL both on and off track earlier this year. It is still a summer performance tire. Off track, I was seeing slightly improved efficiency over the factory P Zero, but the Ultras were slightly noisy on rougher roads (no foam inserts); on the track, for the first couple of laps, they were decent (plenty good enough for spirited driving), but driving to the max lap after lap they got squirrely and very vocal.
We’ve had a HORRIBLE experience with Vredestein tires. We put them on my son’s Acura TSX, and 20,000 miles later all four are shot and need to be replaced. The front two are BALD. And by “bald”, I mean completely bald all the way across.
