Tires Vredestein or Maxxis

Maxxis Tires

Personally, I will never not recommend Maxxis Re-Fuse. Crappy city streets strewn with broken everything, one puncture in a dozen years. I’m on my third pair only because treads wear out. Not the greatest rolling resistance, apparently, but not really a concern for me

Pros: one puncture in years
Cons: not greatest rolling resistance

Vredestein Tires

They said that their customers have really good experiences with the Vredestein Quatrac Pros. I’ve been running them a year. No complaints.

Pros: no complaints

Loving my Vredestein Hitracs. Feel great, super quiet and cushy, but still really grippy and confidence-inducing in the rain or in corners.

Pros: super quiet and cushy

Vredestein Tires

After looking on tire rack and having some more conversations with my shop I’m going to go with the Verdestein Quatrac Pro’s slightly lower scores in some of the categories than the CrossClimates but still look like a highly rated tire and gonna save me close to $300

Pros: highly rated tire, save money
Cons: lower scores
Vehicle: Subaru

Maxxis Tires

I've had a good string of flats on my DTHs, but they're such a great tyre otherwise that I could never be mad at them. They're also so big and floppy they're a breeze to remove, unlike most "puncture resistant" tyres.

Pros: great tyre, easy remove
Cons: good string of flats
