Put these on my wife’s car (2011 Sonata 2.0T) and they’re great. Quiet, handle well, do good in all weather. Plus they’re relatively cheap in comparison.
Achilles, their cheap and have never failed on me
my Achilles ATR Sport 2 last forever in the rear and have good grip
Finally replacing stock ('15 XT) garbage tires and I know nearly anything will be a huge improvement but thanks in advance for any opinions.
I've been recommended Achilles ATR Sport 2 by literally all of my friends. I've had Pilot Super Sports before, and the Achilles handle extremely similar while intense driving. I'd say they last just as long as well.
I also put on Vredestein tires b/c factory tires were slipping when I punched it from a dead stop.
I've pushed those achilles so hard and there is still practically no wear! still trying to make these fit proper, some more fender rolling is needed.
After some research I ended up with set of Vredestein Sportrack 3.They are summer tires test winners in Germany. Made in Holland, speed rating V, should be really good on wet as you can see.
I have had these on for a few weeks. They are super quiet and have an amazing ride.
I picked a set of these tires up from Bob a few months ago, I didn't want to wear out my RE-11's doing daily driving so I needed a second set of tires. The only thing I noticed about them is they do have a bit of road noise that comes in around 30-50km, but that is it. Performance and traction wise they are pretty good; infact better than most touring tires IMO. They handle equally well in the rain and with a higher treadwear rating they should last at least three or four summers for me.
