I picked these up and use them in Canada. They're definitely better than any all season tires for winter and on par with slightly more expensive brands like Uniroyal.
Bought a 2022 Sienna XLE AWD brand new April 2023. Hit a deer that night. Did $28k in damage, all covered by insurance minus deductible. Currently sitting at 60,000 miles Maintenance done: serviced everything 5000 miles and new tires at 33k miles. No unexpected repairs
I am on my 3rd set of Uniroyal Tiger Paw A/S tires here in PA. They wear excellent. Stay quiet. Priced well.
Uniroyal rainsport 5s are the best midrange tyre for Irish weather imo
Now I have Uniroyal Rainsport 5 and they also have amazing grip, but the sidewall could be a little bit stiffer for my liking.
on my 2015 I am riding in a set of Uniroyal AS Tiger paw 225 / 45 / R18. I really like them. I bought them new on eBay with stickers for about $600 (4) and had them mounted and balanced for $200.
We have a base model with no snow mode, but I've had a set of Uniroyal Tiger Paw "Ice & Snow 3"'s on for the last few Winters, and they performed pretty well. I never felt unsafe, even driving through some pretty sketchy stuff.
Where I live there are grooves cut in the highway and Uniroyal tires are particularly susceptible to tracking on those grooves. Otherwise I’ve had pretty good luck with them.
I got the cheapest snow tires possible for my first set, Uniroyal TigerPaw on Steelies. They suck on dry pavement. I had to floor it on a turn from a standstill as I realized someone was doing 80+ through the light I was taking a left at. Ive never had all four tires spin on dry pavement in any subaru Ive owned.
Not really the best tires around they don’t last long
