Just get tires with more protection, like the Pirelli Cinturato Velo.
My stock tires of pirelli scorpion ms are fantastic but I have around 500 miles on the odometer. No complaints so far and seem quiet
I personally love the Pirelli Scorpion AS 3 tires. Great overall performance and a 70k mile warranty. I’ve put them (and the AS 2) on 2 of my trucks (07 F150 King Ranch and 20 RAM 1500 Limited) , Chevy Cruze LTZ and Equinox LT AWD.
Uniroyal are good, affordable tires.
I found 50mm Pirelli Cinturato H to be pretty fastastic.
I got Pirelli P-Zero’s. Meh…. They just came with the Tesla rims. Ok, but I would have went with a Nokian. The pirellis are quiet, smooth run flats…. But the grip is nothing special.
Fronts are 5/32 and rears are 6/32. I'll save the $40 and do it myself. And when the time comes, I'll replace them with something that will last more than, say, 20k miles. I just wish Nokian made tires that fit the 19" wheels.
Pirellie tires are fun to drive if you want to drive hard and don't care about it being a harsh ride. But, they cost much more and last significantly less miles than other brands. Think 50% or less of their advertised mileage before they become too rough to use.
My new GTI has p-zero all seasons and they suck. So much slop, understeer, and it's really hard to put the power down.
2012 Kia Sedona, just got 4 new tires installed at BJs warehouse. Uniroyal Tiger Paws Touring 235/60 R17. Mounted and balanced by them.
Why do they look squished? Like the sidewalls are collapsing? They are inflated to 34psi. They track straight, but not a smooth ride.
