So a few weeks back I opted for Pirelli's P7 tires in lieu of the OEM. I wanted some more traction for dry and wet weather. With OEM tires I was usually between 4.6 kW and 4.4 kW depending on streets or freeway, now I'm about 4.4 kW on streets and 4.2 kW. And there is better traction and control. They are also more comfortable to ride on and quieter too. These tires are 100% worth it.

Pros: better traction and control, more comfortable, quieter
Cons: range suffered initially
Mileage: 1500 km

Went with the **Pirelli P7 All Season Plus 3** tires. Reasons were simple. Cheaper than OEM, better grip in wet and dry, quieter and not too big a hit on economy.

After a few hundred miles of mixed highway and city driving, I can say they are better in every way. The best part is the quiet nature of the tires. Softer hum on the highway, barely noticeable on the streets.

Overall, extremely happy with the tires.

Pros: better grip, quieter
Cons: range hit about 10%

I run an pirelli mt21 on the front because it's about the same aggressiveness on the tread, but has a softer rubber, so I can use the front brake with a little more confidence on-road.

Pros: more confidence on-road

Gen 3: Ran Pirelli Angel GT and GT 2 and recently fitted a set of Road 5.

The GTs will out grip your skill level and performance of the bike in my experience. I've thrashed them on nice South African twisties and they just didn't want to let go.

Pros: out grip skill level

I don't know what everyone else is doing but I'm coming up on 25K on my 2014 with 255/19 p-zeros. The fronts are 70%... not even close to giving up. The rears... well, they're about 30% but that's not the fault of the tires.

Pros: good lateral grip
Cons: don't launch well, expensive
Vehicle: Ford
Mileage: 25000 km

I hope Pirelli gets punished. It's not about the race really, they fucking crashed going 300km/h, so fucking dangerous.

Pros: dangerous, crashed going 300km/h

Had the Pirelli P Zero on my 2014 GTI when I originally bought it, and they were probably one of the worst tires I've had the displeasure of experiencing (esp. in the winter).

Pros: null
Cons: worst tires, bad winter
Vehicle: Volkswagen
