Tires Pirelli or Nokia

Pirelli Tires

After seeing the performance of Pirelli in WRC, and some of the direct massive pothole shots my OE Pirellis have taken, I'm impressed with them

Pros: impressed with performance

Ditto on the Nokians from me as well. On my 2nd set after 50K miles and find my speed control chimes going off regularly now (set at 96 MPH) because the ride is just so smooth.

Pros: ride is so smooth
Mileage: 50000 km

I've been happy with my Pirell P-Zero Nero M+S... Good in cold, wet, slush, muck and even a few inches of snow... very good in the dry too.

Pros: good in cold, wet

My original Pirelli's were loud after 10K miles. I couldn't wait to get rid of them. The Yoko's are very quiet with exceptional handling characteristics.

Pros: very quiet, exceptional handling
Cons: Pirelli's were loud
Mileage: 10000 km

Ride is better than the Michelins they replaced, and traction seems to be excellent, but at 50 lbs. inflation there was a little sidewall flex on fast cornering. Noise is roughly the same as the Michelins; maybe a little quieter. Gas mileage on the trip was 20.2

Pros: better ride, excellent traction
Cons: sidewall flex on cornering
Vehicle: Volkswagen

Including like new Pirelli P Zero Rosso 275/40ZR19, these puppies were $1380 delivered. The rims are flawless and I can recoup some money by selling the "B" centers. Tonight they are go on the car.

Pros: rims are flawless

Pirelli Tires

The Pirelli PZero Nero M&S is a ULTRA PERFORMANCE tire [one step down from the MAX PERFORMANCE] and is an all-season tire, which is a compromise in handling compared to the Kumho MX's.

Pros: ultra performance tire
Cons: compromise in handling
