Tires Pirelli or Laufenn

Pirelli Tires

Have Yakima ski rack on roof cross bars (empty today). Factory Pirelli Scorpion tires (they were great in the blizzard last week despite all the complaints on the interwebz about them).

Pros: great in blizzard
Cons: complaints on interwebz

Laufenn Tires

I purchased a set of Laufenn for my '04 Pilot this summer. So far, so good. I don't expect them to perform like a Michelin, but that's okay for my soon-to-be 22-year-old daily driver.

Pros: so far, so good
Cons: not like Michelin
Vehicle: Honda Pilot

Laufenn Tires

These are pretty much done you’re almost at the wear bars, and the outside shoulder is already going bald. They’ll still roll, but grip in rain is going to be noticeably worse, especially under braking.

Pros: still roll
Cons: grip in rain worse

Do not get the P-Zeros trashhhh tire, very stiff I tried them on didn’t like em, way too much cabin noise Continentals are good, idk where you live but if you got the cheddar, go Michelin pilot sport all seasons. If you have a big o tires near your area they might be able to hook you up

Pros: Continentals are good
Cons: P-Zeros trash, very stiff, too much cabin noise

Pirelli Tires

My experience with the Perelli stock tires was that they wore out at 19,000 miles, required numerous puncture repairs, and during their first test backcountry, the sidewall blew out, leaving me stranded.

Cons: premature wear, puncture prone, sidewall failure
Mileage: 19000 km
