We had iX40 no airsuspension - we did have some of that feeling you mention on the stock Bridgestone Alenza tires. But when we changed those to Pirelli P Zero E (275/40-R22)- it was like driving a totally different veichle, the handling and controll changed so much it took me really by surprise. The difference is really that huge.

Pros: handling and control changed
Cons: stock tires feeling
Vehicle: BMW

The current AS3 Pirelli? I'd say it's better than the AS4, which honestly wasn't great in the rain for me. I prefer PS4s to the AS4 for rain. Honestly, my Hankook RS4 aren't any worse than the AS4 in rain.

Pros: better than AS4
Cons: not great in rain

I used to have Pirelli Scorpion tires for a different SUV and those things wear out soo fast because they’re meant for handling and have a very shallow tread

Pros: good handling
Cons: wear out fast

My only experience with Pirellis was a set of P6 All Seasons that I put on my old Acura TL fifteen years ago. It transformed my ostensibly “luxury car” into one that rode like a cement truck.

Cons: rode like cement truck
Vehicle: Acura TL
