Just spent early winter in Vermont with tons of snow and my '24 cross sport. I used snow mode just to be sure but I had no problems whatsoever. I should mention, however, that I put Pirelli Scorpion Weatheractives on mine in November 2024 for that years' Vermont trip. Those tires and the Atlas Cross Sport is definitely the best handling I have ever had in snow. I drove 600 miles across the northeast in a winter storm without fear if that helps.
I live in Hungary and i went for the Pirelli sf3 in September and so far is perfect.
Testing out these PIRELLI CINTURATO WEATHERACTIVE tires. I’m impressed so far. Not bad at all.
Removed mine the first day. The actual removal of the blades may leave some plastic marring from the tabs- which rubs off pretty easily. HOWEVER- the longer you leave them on- the more dirt will get between the tabs and the wheel itself; this is what scratches the wheel
I went with the cooper ATPII They were $269 a tire at discount over Christmas week. So far just as quiet as the pirellis started out, i have them at 60PSI instead of 48PSI and the efficiency is near enough no difference. They are an LT tire so they are rated for more pressure then the oem’s.
In the mud so far they have done just as well, the on road feel is no different. I really like them, they are M&S rated but not 3peak, all though that seems to not make much of a difference so far in my opinion.
I have Pirelli Cinturato P7 A/S run-flats on my '21 X3 xDrive (same size) and had them on E90 as well for past several years. They do quite well in E WA winters, quiet and smooth.
just had these installed on my vehicle, got almost 20k from the stock pirelli
You got 40,000 miles from a set of Pirelli tires? I’ve never hard good lucky with that brand.
I had Pirelli Scorpion Zeros on my X5 and hated them. I switched to Michelin CrossClimate 2’s and it feels much more planted to the road.
I am looking at replacing the OEM Pirellis on my '26 R1T with the new Hankook ION HT. I don't trust the Priellis, even with plenty of tread, in the CO mountains.
