I put snow tires on my stock Mitsubishi Evo wheels for a weekend in Tahoe. All season tires didn't work, but wow the Bridgestone Blizzaks were magic even on an AWD 400 hp car
I run Bridgestone Potenzas on my ‘05 987.1.
They have been great.
Currently running Bridgestone Potenza RE980A/S+ on my E90 and they are sublime.
Recently got a set of 4 Bridgestones with only a couple thousand miles on them for $250 with free shipping.
I went with Bridgestone Weather peaks. Much less slipping and good efficiency.
I also swapped the stock tires for A/T tires, mostly for the looks, but they actually helped in sand and rough surfaces.
My R came from the factory with the Bridgestone Potenza S005s. They're decent for daily driving—good grip in the dry and pretty quiet—but they’re not amazing in the wet.
Bridgestone Potenza RE92 are great on dry pavement; but they are a scary ride with RWD on wet, snowy, or icy pavement.
I had them on a 2019 Sport. I got rid of them at about 25k. They hydroplaned dangerously.
