Swapped my wifes Z4 from runflats to normal.

Pros: better ride, less likely to crack rims, cheaper tyres.

Before I switched I had 4 sidewall tears, one bent wheel, and one cracked wheel. $3000 in damage. After I switched, zero issues a year and a half later. Smoother ride and less road noise too.

FEDERAL Tires

We ran them on our champ car endurance race car. They were ok for what they are. Beware they will get greasy after around 10-15 laps at full pace and grip goes immediately. Caused significant understeer at the limit when this happened.

Federal tires are cheap and good. I use Michelin PS4 but on wet paint they're almost useless.

RS-RR's are good for wear also but way longer to overheat when pushed. They squeal and moan like crazy though and finding the limit of grip is very hard.

It was a commonly traversed dirt road, a little soggy after a rain storm and I backed my dad\u2019s brand new 2008 335i into a small mud depression with the right rear only. Result? Absolutely dead immobile
