2013 cooper s bought new. Came with conti all season runflats, couldn't put down power. No grip. Harsh.

Not a month later went to Michelin A/S pilot sport all-seasons.. better, but still couldn't mash the gas coming out of a corner.

5 years later went to the ones I still run today, the Firestone Indy 500. Posh ride, great grip, and I can put full power in 2nd coming out of a corner. Behaves identical to the Yokohama S.Drives I used to have on my Rx-8. Where I live it doesn't even get down to 45\*F so I don't worry about all-seasons anymore. These do magnificent in the wet, too.

Pros: posh ride, great grip
Cons: no grip, harsh
Vehicle: MINI

Firestone Firehawk Indy 500s. Don't think you can beat the price ($150/tire installed when I got them) and they do great in rain. I've put 40k mi on mine and they have probably got 20k more in them.

Pros: great in rain, good price
Mileage: 64000 km

Firestone Indy 500 tire? What level are you running at and on what car? What is your psi? It's a great novice (to intermediate-ish)tire, but you have to know when to back off. Run them too hot and they'll get a little greasy feeling. Although I can't see that happening after 1 lap.

Pros: predictable tire, good feedback
Cons: greasy feeling

I've had the Firestone Weathergrips on my Camry for 4+ years. Solid performance all around - better in snow than any all season tire I have used. Noise has gotten worse as they wear - there isn't any cupping or uneven wear - I think it is just the nature of the tire.

Pros: solid performance, better in snow
Cons: noise got worse

Firestone Tires

The tires I currently have are Firestone Firehawk Indy 500s, which were on the car when I bought it. For my use case I generally like them, with one exception: wet weather performance. Even though moderate NorCal doesn't see too many rainy days, I've felt myself losing traction/hydroplaning on quite a few occasions. If it weren't for this issue, I could easily see myself just replacing them with another set of Firehawks and calling it a day

Pros: good dry performance
Cons: poor wet weather performance, hydroplaning

Firestone Tires

My dad had a Ranger that came with the recalled infamous Firestone Wilderness AT's. When they did the recall, they put the shittiest summer street tires on as a replacement with absolutely no traction in the snow. That's the worst tire I've ever ran on a vehicle.

Pros: none
Cons: no traction in snow
Vehicle: Ford Ranger

I wanted to write this because there are almost no reviews on this tire online. Firestone claims it's a big improvement over the previous generation. Traction is good on wet and dry roads. Slippage prediction is also decent. Road noise is fine. Ride comfort (in terms of feeling the road) is really good. Steering responsiveness is ABYSMAL. It's like driving an aquarium on top of a trampoline. Due to the fact the sidewall seems to be made of marshmallows, it's quite terrifying doing any aggressive driving. Highway driving, making turns specifically, is terrifying. Overall: Do not buy unless it's for rears only, or you're driving a car that is exceptionally light weight. If the steering and body movement responsiveness was fixed, this would be an excellent tire. Sadly the responsiveness is so bad, the tire feels legitimately dangerous.

Pros: good traction, decent slippage prediction
Cons: abysmal steering responsiveness
Vehicle: Infiniti
