Tires NITTO or SUMITOMO
We've switched to Sumitomo HTR A/S P01s. They're pretty good in the snow, believe it or not, and they're quiet and comfortable without giving up too much in handling. Very impressed so far.
My new favorite cheap-o all-seasons are the Sumitomo HTR high-performance all-seasons. Quiet, good dry grip, comfortable, cheap.
I'm also getting new summer rubber, Nitto Neogens in 205/45 R16.
NITTO NEOGEN .I just got a set .They did great in the snow are Z rated and 280 tread rating.
I run the sumitomo 215/50s but I got a 185/60 for a spre so it fits under the rear mat.
the summitomo HTR-200 are a relatively decent tire. They are super cheap and come in several sizes that would work for you.
I just got 4 Sumitomo HTR Z III's and they were super cheap, 300 treadwear rating, pretty sweet tread pattern, and reinforced sidewall, all for $107 a piece from TireRack, pretty reasonable. There's almost no road noise and they grip pretty well, I just hope they last!
great tires! wonderful in corners, i love them!
Compared to my Winterforce snows that are now year round tires, the handling is great! They do feel a little soft and the last ones I had were very slippery until the wear bars but around that point they got pretty sticky! Plus they were dirt cheap and my last ones lasted forever!
a side wall bubble is dangerous.. make sure if you plan on driving on it for a period of time to keep you tire pressure perfect if not a bit lower then the factory suggest.. my wife had a small bubble and over inflated a few 5 PSI and blew it out on the highway 10miles later.. you never know when they are going to blow so try to get a new tire ASAP..
