Tires NITTO or MRF

NITTO Tires

I recently put HPAS 205/50/15 Nitto Neo Gen on my NB since i’m on a budget. So far they’ve been much better than expected. They grip significantly noticeably more than what the previous owner had (ironman tires.) they grip to the point i struggle to throw the rear out without kicking it. Last tires I could cut the wheels and just hit it and the rear would slip out but with these even flicking it doesn’t want to break out. They’ve been performing great in corners as well, I’ve been able to take some 10-20mph faster without worry.

Pros: much better than expected

Personally go with nitto ridge grapplers .. they are fantastic on the highway not loud.. very comfortable… also though they are amazing in sand and off road dirt/mud. I bough the ridge grapplers that you can easily get 50-60k miles with normal rotation..

Pros: fantastic on highway, not loud, very comfortable, amazing in sand/off-road, long lifespan
Mileage: 80467 km

Second pair of Nitto A/Ts. Great off road, great longevity, smooth ride. Wet roads and wet boat ramps are deffinetly not their stong points. They do definnetly slip even on the slightest of wet weather so unfortunately I won't be buying another set.

Pros: great off road, great longevity
Cons: slip on wet weather

I’m currently running Nitto Ridge grapplers 37x12.5x17 D-rated tires. I’m in need of a full set after about 30k miles. I do like the Nittos I am running, they are fairly quite and wheel great but I think a higher rated tire would help.

Pros: fairly quiet, wheel great
Cons: wore quickly (30k miles)
Mileage: 30000 km

Ran Grapplers on my F150 and they are loud AF. They’re not nearly as good on wet pavement, snow, ice as Wildpeaks.

Cons: loud, poor in wet pavement, poor in snow, poor in ice

NITTO Tires

I am over buying tires. My wheel setup includes NITTO NEO GEN FRONT: 205/40 REAR: 215/40. Tires are stretched. I had a wide body made and I’m now running-2.6 rear and -1 front to hopefully get longer life out of my tires.

Cons: short tire life
