Tires NITTO or Goodyear

Goodyear Tires

I got the quatrac pro + after trying to use the default summer tires last winter and it being basically impossible to get anywhere. So far no regrets at all amd they have done great with the 8 inches of snow and ice we have had.

Pros: no regrets at all
Cons: great with snow, ice

I have Goodyear Eagle F1 asymmetric 6 as they scored extremely well in all conditions, now a year old and still in great condition.

Pros: scored extremely well

NITTO Tires

Was at this overlanding event once and a guy was drilling into his Nitto spare to demonstrate how to plug.  He was getting a workout in somewhat cold weather trying to *drill* into his Nitto.

Pros: puncture resistant
Cons: hard to drill

NITTO Tires

I ran the Nittos on my Gladiator from day 1 to about 28k miles. Great tire, never had any issues or punctures. Survived Rubicon and the 7 hour drive back immediately after. Not the greatest in snow, but I've had worse in the past on other vehicles, lower air pressure can help this.

Pros: great tire, no issues
Cons: not greatest in snow
Vehicle: Jeep
Mileage: 28000 km

Goodyear Tires

They're both running good year reliants, that were only guaranteed for 60k miles. They have 90k each and still had tread left.

Pros: tread left
Vehicle: Chrysler Pacifica
Mileage: 144841 km

Goodyear Tires

Ours came loose too and started shaking the steering wheel. We had 53k miles on our tires and there were getting replaced soon anyway. When I got new tires I got goodyears with no foam and no difference in road noise. The foam seems to be unnecessary and just something that will cause problems later.

Pros: no difference in road noise
Cons: foam causes problems
Vehicle: Hyundai
Mileage: 85295 km

NITTO Tires

I'm severely disappointed in these tires. My parents put 255/65r18 nomad grapplers on their 2013 traverse 2LT. Not even 200 miles on these tires and a stick punctured one of them.

Cons: easily punctured
Vehicle: Chevrolet Traverse
Mileage: 200 km
