Tires NITTO or BRIDGESTONE

BRIDGESTONE Tires

I drove from Halifax to vancouver island BC during the first week of Jan 2025, and it wasnt too bad. I have a 2018 ford f250 with 4x4 and bridgestone blizzak snow tires, and it was fine.

Pros: good snow tires
Vehicle: Ford

For Illinois daily driving, I’d go with the Bridgestone WeatherPeak out of the three you listed it’s been the most consistent in wet + light-snow grip and rides smoother than the Contis or the BFGs. I swapped to WeatherPeaks earlier this year and they’ve handled Midwest rain and early flurries way better than my old set.

Pros: consistent wet, snow grip

BRIDGESTONE Tires

We got a big snowfall over Thanksgiving, I have these exact tires on my ND. They're great. Obviously they move around a lot more on dry roads but they are excellent in the snow. Acceleration and cornering are great and I had no issues on fairly steep hills either. Like any tire in the snow though, you must leave plenty of stopping distance.

Pros: excellent in the snow
Cons: move around on dry roads
Vehicle: Mazda

Second pair of Nitto A/Ts. Great off road, great longevity, smooth ride. Wet roads and wet boat ramps are deffinetly not their stong points. They do definnetly slip even on the slightest of wet weather so unfortunately I won't be buying another set.

Pros: great off road, great longevity
Cons: slip on wet weather

For whatever reason my Bridgestone tires always lasted half of their warranty if that, and generally sucked all around.

Cons: short life, sucked all around
