Tires Nexen or Firestone

Nexen Tires

Honestly, the Nexen is a great tire... It's an older model but for the money it is tough to beat it. Nexen also has arguably the best warranty in the tire industry that includes a 2 year road hazard warranty.

Pros: great tire, tough to beat
Cons: older model

I have some Nexen Aria AH7 all season tires on my old Subaru Outback wagon. They have been great tires but they are aging out so I need to replace them.

Pros: great tires
Cons: aging out

Nexen Tires

Nexen is a very reputable mid-range tire manufacturer... In general along the same lines as Cooper, Falken, General, Kumho, and other mid-tier brands quality wise. They have arguably the best warranty in the industry, including a 2 year road hazard warranty from the manufacturer (in the US at least).

If they fit your needs and the price is decent, is take a chance on Nexens.

Pros: reputable mid-range tire

Rating 4.0

I currently have Firehawk AS V2's on mine. I live in an area that gets all four seasons, and they've served me well in the rain and snow/ice. I'm sure I'm sacrificing some summer performance, but that's pretty far from my priority. No issues with excessive wear or tire noise

Pros: good in rain, snow
Cons: sacrificing summer performance
Vehicle: Mazda 6

Nexen Tires

They’re fine - I believe they’re made by nexen, and nexens are pretty solid mid tier tires. Not gonna wow you but definitely not dangerous like some of the cheap chinese junk out there.

Pros: pretty solid mid tier
Cons: not gonna wow you

Nexen Tires

This one came with Nexen tires that were brand new when I purchased the truck. To be honest, these were the worst tires I have ever owned. Well, I have had a lot of issues in rain where these totally loose traction in the rain going perfectly straight. Didn't matter how fast I was traveling. The final straw was with my wife in light rain and a slightly wet road, turning onto an onramp at about 30mph and the entire rear end started sliding like we were on ice, without me trying to accelerate yet.

Pros: loose traction in rain
Cons: worst tires ever owned

My '23 Versa came with Npriz S and it's labeled as "bad" by the dealership at 23k miles and now at 30k they aren't looking good at all to me. One just started a slow leak.

Pros: slow leak
Cons: labeled as bad
Vehicle: Nissan
Mileage: 48280 km
