Tires Nexen or Firestone

Ciao tutti, riprendo questo mio thread perché dopo un paio di giorni di ricerca avrei adocchiato le Nexen N'Fera SU4 XL che pare abbiano un buon rapporto qualità-prezzo (le ho trovate a 57€ l'uno). Tyre-reviews ha delle ottime recensioni a riguardo.

Got a flat replaced with a neven tire and it barely wore at all after 15000 miles, replaced the other 3 when they wore out with nexen tires and they grip well. No problems at all.

You can look into Nexen. Korean brand. Not as cheap as the Chinese brands but not as expensive as the known brands. I fitted these on my Tiguan last year. Take my anecdotal experience with a grain of salt, but the ride felt quieter with the Nexens vs the Bridgestones it had on before.

If you have the 15" stock wheels, check out nexen npriz AH5. I got some off Amazon for my 65 riviera when I was stock height.

I have them on my car, bought them in 2023 and living in the northeast, they've gone through two winters, hot ass summers and rain and they've done the job and still have a ton of tread on them. With so much insane weather here, I was worried about maybe some traction problems in the snow and rain. Haven't had any at all. YMMV but they've been better "for me" than some higher priced, higher rated tires I wasted money on in the past. I can't speak on everything the company sells, but my specific ones are the Nexen CP671s.

They are a decent midrange tire. Absolutely a good choice if your budget is limited.

The tires have probably 10k miles on them? They are Firestone Firehawk A/S V2s, so decent sporty all seasons. They are pretty decent I’d say.

BFG is definitely a class above the Nexen. Sure Nexen has never issued a recall but they make very mid car tires imo, underrated truck tires tho and excellent quality control.

About 8,000 miles ago, bought a set of their 30,000 mile rated tires. My wife asked me to look at her front tires because they looked "worn out" to which I said "What!" The front tires look like they have gone almost 25,000 worth of wear. She only drives locally and her job is less than a mile away. I've never seen tires wear down so much from so little driving but I guess that's what you get from buying at a Mom and Pop discount place.

I’ll be honest these came in my brand new 2025 Volkswagen Jetta which I purchased last October and I already need a new set. I have put in a wreck of miles though 18k miles already but I still think they wore way too quick they’re at “4 tread and will need to replace.
