Tires Nexen or Continental

I buy Michelin or Continental….if it’s a truck and I need off road tires I’ll consider BFG.

That’s the end of my list….Ive never had a blow out, never even had a flat that left me stranded (I know; this one’s got a component of luck too), but good tires wear better, I regularly get 50k miles out of those brands, and I usually change my tires around 40% left, so they’d easily go 70k miles.

Pros: wear better, no blow outs

Nexen Tires

You can get the nexen roadian HTX RH5 for $155 each from tires-easy right now. They should perform fairly well and be safe on the road.

Pros: perform fairly well, safe

Continental Tires

I swapped my OEMs with [Continental ExtremeContact DWS-06 Plus](https://continentaltire.com/tires/extremecontact-dws06-plus). They're pretty good and highly recommended everywhere.

Pros: pretty good, highly recommended
Vehicle: Mazda 6

Continental Tires

The answer is conti premium contact 6, or yoko v105. Both good tyres but allow you to explore the limits without silly speeds and good feedback.

Pros: good feedback
Cons: explore limits

I have a model 3 but was debating the pilot sports. I have continental pro contact rx and on smooth roads they are smooth and quiet but on not recently paved roads they can be bumpy and loud.

Pros: smooth and quiet
Cons: bumpy and loud

Continental Tires

But having watched DWS regularly chunk badly under autox runs, i wouldn't expect much to be left of those tires at the end of the event. The compound is not designed to handle higher temps.

Cons: chunk badly, not designed for heat
