Tires Nexen or Continental

personally I skipped going for the Hakkapeliittas this time and went with Continental IceContact XTRM Studded, So far they have been great! but damn are they loud on dry pavement lol.

Continental 175/70 r13 tires imported from Italy in July 2020 (at substantial expense \ud83e\udd23) to wrap this set of 82 Jetta wheels for my resto-mod. Finally got them painted to my satisfaction in reflex silver. Searched all of US and Canada for Continental 175/70s with no luck.

I have a set of them. I have no complaints with them. They ride smoothly and are not noisy. A great tire for daily driving and in the rain. For the price, they are a nice tire.

i just got a set of continentals in june and i am in love. prior to this, i had dunlops (original set) and i think yokohama after that. i hated them both. slid in the rain all the time. came here for a recommendation and saw lots of praise for the contis. so glad i found them.

I've had the Contis on my Hatch for two years now and they're worth every penny.

I loved conti 'der kaisers' they have huge paddles for braking, and 13 side knobs for every 11 maxxis side knob. They seem similar to a dhr2 with the whole paddle thing goin on...

Continental dws06-plus. Great value. Good tread life and they grip the road when you need it to

I have Conti-Extreme Contact DWS06's on her from fall-spring (right now I have summers on.) today the temps were at around 57* and they were most certainly squirrely until they warmed up. They are a good overall tire but they will break loose (both all season and summer) if you have enough HP. they're a good all season tire. but I wouldn't push them to the limits. they are predictable also and I've pushed them in the corners with satisfactory handling.

This weekend I had to pay tire discounters to remove the foam from all 4 of my tires because it was coming off and causing unbalanced tires. These tires aren’t good.
