Tires NANKANG or Vredestein

Vredstein Wintrac Pro. They are great ran them 5 months last season and they still look brand new. Ride great in the snow as well, had my 328xi coupe out in 6 inches of fresh snow in the ground and still coming down and they never slipped or had trouble stopping.

Got Windtrac Pro+ on my Elantra N for the winter. Drove to and from Canada over the weekend, 1000mi round trip, through snow and sleet. Have nothing but positive things to say about these tires! They handle wonderfully in harsher conditions and really help with road noise and pot hole absorption.

I've only driven on them for 30 miles but holy crap are these things amazing. These winters grip better in the cold than the crappy Firestone summers my car came on grip the warm. I'm able to launch a 0-60 with minimal wheel spin and without chirping the tires on the 1-2 shift. These are also softer and quieter than any Blizzaks or X-Ice Snows I've had. They're soft and squishy and compliant. They give a great ride and still retain some steering feedback.

My current set are Vredestein Hyoertrac All Season Performance Tirea. We had quite a bit of snow last year and I was surprised at how well they worked.

I run VREDESTEIN QUATRAC PROs all year. They are technically all seasons but are severe snow rated. I drive all over the UP and they have been great. I’m in a FWD tiny car too. No issues since switching.

I have used these for years and they offer great performance in the dry or snow

Great feeling tires for sure, have them on my C7.5 S6, only issue I have with the tires are the side walls get weathered after a year, that’s personally the issue that I am having, and only tire i received is poorly balanced. Otherwise the tires feel great all around.

CRS and AR1 are great track tyres and so use the AR1 myself.

However, what I think is their UHP road tyre, the NS2 is poor compared to Michelin/bridgestone/Continental offerings.

Nankang CRS definitely is not top tier on Lincoln concrete. I'd honestly throw it below the RT660 on pace. Decent on asphalt and hot weather.

I have a 1970 VW/Porsche 914, uses the same tire. I've had Michelins for years. About 3 years ago, I bought a set of Vredestein's - 165/15 - and they did not handle well at all.
