Tires MICHELIN or YOKOHAMA

I run Michelin Premier A/S and I’ve really enjoyed them. I also run my tire a little bit taller and more narrow than factory. I like the taller sidewall for ride comfort.

I popped a tire on the lip of one of California's ubiquitous ~~potholes~~ sink holes. If I ever buy another "no spare" car it better have airless tires like the [Michelin uptis](https://michelinmedia.com/michelin-uptis/) on it standard.

The AS Pilot Sport 4’s (not to get confused with Pilot Sport 4S) are are almost up to par with Michelin X-Ice in the snow and are amazing in dry conditions.

Michelin tires are a softer rubber than Bridgestone tires. This means that Michelin tires will give you a slightly better grip on the road, but the trade off is tire life/wear.

Michellines have always been better, but you always want to look at reviews for your specific tire.

With that said, I got the Michelin Defender LTX for my car and I've never experienced better traction, especially during rain and a 2-3 inches of water on the road. You barely even feel it.

I will say, we got a set of Michelin Cross Climate 2s at Costco for our Subaru Impreza and love them.

I got michelin xice3 I think on my cadillac for Toronto slush and snow it's great

Michelin Xi3 on my Mustang. I got stuck once in my alleyway because of a really bad ice storm, but otherwise no problems. They are a bit floaty (as winter tires tend to be), but otherwise good dry performance too.

The o.e. tires where Continental Conti's but these results are from the present Michelin's. I didn't have the Conti's on long and unfortunately I never closely watched the MPG before going to the Michelins. the Conti's were slippery feeling and I see they are rated LRR, which I knew nothing about at the time. The mpg dropped w/ the Michelins... especially with lower pressure.
