I put these on our eGolf back in Sept. Haven't had any bad weather but imo they are great. Way better wet grip than the oem tires. Ride is great, even having gone from 16s to 18s. Slightly more road noise, but I only hear it because my car is an EV. Economy has actually been pretty similar, maybe using a fewer more kw than before but not drastic.

Pros: way better wet grip, ride is great
Cons: slightly more road noise
Vehicle: Volkswagen

I went with Michelin CrossClimate2's on my 2017 Alltrack with the APR ECU and TCU stage 1 tune. Previously I had the Vredestein Quatrac 5 tires which were pretty good too but a tad noisy on fresh blacktop. I don't get enough snow in the Cincinnati area to really merit a set of summer vs winter tires. CrossClimate2's have been on since April and its been a fantastic tire so far. Very quiet and great handling.

Pros: very quiet, great handling
Vehicle: Volkswagen

MICHELIN Tires

I just put these on my heavy TT. they were substantially beefier than the ST tires they replaced. My set were made in Germany. They're expensive, but as a victim of a blow out on 2 year old STs, I can tell you that the price difference would have been less than the cost of the collateral damage.

Pros: extremely beefy, made in Germany
Cons: expensive
Vehicle: Dodge RAM

After 23k miles I didn't want to keep the Falken OE tires on my car for another winter. Michelin has released the CrossClimate 2 tire in the Alltrack OE size (205/55R17 95V XL) and I decided to buy a set. I love them! These tires have given the car a great steering feel and are quiet on the road, and I think they look just right for the Alltrack.

Pros: great steering feel, quiet
Vehicle: Volkswagen
Mileage: 37015 km

I really like the Michelin x-ice tires, they are on the quieter side for winters I've had on the dry and great in the snow, but noise comes with that added traction anyway you do it.

Pros: quieter side, great in snow
Cons: noise with added traction

Vredestein Tires

I just in installed 4 of the Vredestein Quatrac Pro from TireRack. They've been on for 2 weeks and initial impressions are much improved over the Giti's. They also have the 3PMSF symbol as well.

Pros: much improved over Giti

I have Michelin Xi3's. I can't recommend them if you care about your car's performance at all. If you don't GAF then these are fine. Probably ideal for a Prius. They work fine in snow, the brakes work on ice, and the ride is alright. That's all the praise I can give them.

Pros: work fine in snow, brakes work on ice
Cons: poor performance, not recommended
