The v730s have significantly more grip and won’t get as greasy and the Michelin.
My winter setup is the same as my summer setup - 235/35/19 Pirelli PZero All Season Plus 3s on my stock Scottsdale rims
Just got a set of CC2’s last week for my XT6. Already have them on our minivan and my son’s Fusion (my previous work vehicle). I don’t notice anymore road noise from the CC2 compared to the OEM tire (Michelin Primacy Tour). We just got about 8” of snow yesterday in to today and the CC2 are significantly better in the snow than the PT were last winter. I have a short ride to the office now but I went through 2 sets of CC2’s on the Fusion when I was driving 100+ miles a day to my previous job and they were excellent in all conditions at highway speeds.
I have Dunlop Sport Maxx for summer and Michelin X-Ice Snow for winter. The Dunlop are like fucking slicks once things start to get cold and wet. These x-ice are a BEAST though. 70+ with no issues while everyone else is doing 40 with hazards.
AWESOME bad weather tire, They are great on cars that see a lot of not so great roads. I run them on my all wheel drive volvo xc70 and they are fantastic. They handle dirt and mud super well, in addition to just not minding the snow at all, and they have really good hydroplane resistance.
I have them on a FWD Honda CRV and after about 20k miles they are some of my favorite tires I have ever owned. I live in South Carolina so snow isn’t much of a concern. However, they have been amazing in the rain and we certainly get some downpours here. As for dry weather, they are smooth, quiet and give a good road feel when driving, especially on the long highway trips.
Have them on my Alfa Stelvio. Absolutely love them. Driven them from the Rockies during winter to the summers of the SE US. Performance is great and never had any issues in rain. Will be hard for me to buy anything else for a non-truck vehicle.
My Michelin crossclimate 2 were great first winter, good second winter and terrible third winter.
Had the same tires and the same thing happened. Most expensive tires I'd ever bought and they let me down. I use Bridgestone now for price and quality balance
I used to work for Benz as a tech. Nothing but problems with Pirelli. They has become a shell of what they used to be. Total garbage but still a high price tag. I’m a Michelin fan if you can stomach the cost. Continental or Bridgestone as alternatives.
