Bit the bullet this year and put the Michelin X-Ice on. Completely different handling and traction.

I’m in CA I only buy Michelin defenders for all my cars can’t be beat and will last 70k, they are expensive but will last twice as long saving you money

Pros: will last 70k
Cons: they are expensive

Michelin AS 4 are a solid pick. I\u2019ve run the 3s and 3+ models in previous years and handled driving in up to 6\u201d of snow when the front bumper turned into a snow plow.

Pros: solid pick, handles snow

I bought all-season tires that are better in the wet/snow/ice than my winter tires I was passed along from my parent's totaled Rav: Michelin CrossClimate2.

Pros: better in wet/snow/ice
Vehicle: Toyota

I got the defenders for the 21" wheels 4k miles ago. I am currently at 2.31 mi/kWh and climbing. Pretty similar to the original Pirelli tires.

Pros: efficiency climbing
Cons: similar to original tires
Mileage: 6437 km

Pirelli Tires

I have been looking for replacements for the awful Pirellis (on 22s). I’m on my second set - and the rain we’ve have in New England would get the Rivian hydroplaning where I’d never had that issue with my old Lexus GX with Michelin’s.

Cons: awful, hydroplaning in rain
