I did take my run flats off and replace with pirelli p zeros all round and it's made such a difference to the ride quality.

I run Michelin defenders on my LS and my wifes santa fe. 80k miles treadlife and they ride smooth.

Pros: long treadlife, smooth ride

I bought pirelli scorpions at2 on my Amarok

They are awesome, quiet on the highway and heaps of grip on and off road

I've ran Michelin Pilot Sport 4ASs the entire time I've owned mine. They handle brilliantly and deal with rain exceptionally well.

Pros: brilliant handling, exceptional rain performance

As for the tires, the OEM tires are Michelin EnergySaver AS w/SelfSeal. If something else is in place, it can reduce the range by 5 to 10%.

Pros: best for efficiency

Cons: sacrifices everything else

The one thing I didn't like was that they were on EVERY car. I have an ADVAN Mitsubishi Evo that looked straight up wrong with Michelin Cup 2 tires on it.
