I buy Michelin Pilot Sport all-season tires because their performance means my safety. (Also because they handle well when I’m having fun)
For a second vehicle that still has to be solid in snow, I’d go Michelin X-Ice Snow and not even think twice. They bite way harder on packed snow than any A/T and make a heavy truck like a Silverado feel way more planted on cold mornings. I ran them on my old 1500 and the difference in braking/steering vs. all-terrains was huge.
a dedicated winter like the Michelin X-Ice Snow makes a huge difference on those slick mornings and unplowed side streets.
Bit the bullet this year and put the Michelin X-Ice on. Completely different handling and traction.
Best tires on the market are Michelin Defenders. You’ll thank me in 3 years when you have little to no tire wear
I just put Michelin Crossclimate2s on mine and they're doing great.
I’m in CA I only buy Michelin defenders for all my cars can’t be beat and will last 70k, they are expensive but will last twice as long saving you money
Michelin AS 4 are a solid pick. I\u2019ve run the 3s and 3+ models in previous years and handled driving in up to 6\u201d of snow when the front bumper turned into a snow plow.
I recently replaced my Pirelli with Michelin defenders. I have put about 5K miles on them so far. The range is about the same. I didn't notice a change in road noise. They were a little bit cheaper than the Pirelli tires.
Hey, I have a Michelin set from 2018 and they are hard like hockey pucks. I don’t run on them cause I have another set that I’m on.
