MICHELIN Tires

Just replaced them with the Michelin Crosstreads because I want better winter and overall braking performance.

Pros: better winter performance

I’d recommend Michelin CrossClimates. They’re quite good in the snow (3 peak rated) and in all weather situations. Quite a breakthrough in tire tech IMO.

Pros: good in snow

Think I'm going to get Michelin Cross-Climates in lieu of dedicated snows this year. Don't get much snow in NoVa, but I've always been happy to have winter tires both in the cold and for the few times it does snow. I've read an awful lot about the Michelins being almost as good as a dedicated winter tire in the snow, so I'll be interested to see how they behave -- they'll almost certainly be good enough for my needs.

Pros: good in cold, good in snow
Vehicle: Volvo V60

I run Hakka r3. My wife runs General Winter Contact and they are about equal, very quiet good studless winter.

Pros: very quiet, good studless

I got Michelin Pilot Sport AS4. The responsiveness and grip I got compared to stock is insane, especially if they got a bit less pressure than asked by Mazda.

Pros: insane responsiveness and grip
Vehicle: Mazda 3

Michelin Xi3 on my Mustang. I got stuck once in my alleyway because of a really bad ice storm, but otherwise no problems. They are a bit floaty (as winter tires tend to be), but otherwise good dry performance too.

Pros: good dry performance, no problems
Cons: a bit floaty, got stuck once in ice storm

Nokia Tires

Love them in deeper snow and slushy road but the trade off on dry pavement is HUGE. With the Hakka, my car is dancing all around. I hate that...

Pros: good in deeper snow
Cons: bad on dry pavement
