Tires MICHELIN or NANKANG

MICHELIN Tires

Michelin Pilot Sport A/S. I have these on my Jetta right now and my god I freaking love them! So much better than those crappy Bridgestones EL-400 that came with the car.

Pros: I freaking love them

NANKANG Tires

I've used em a couple different times and never had a problem. They're pretty good tires for stretching too.

To the person who said Pilot Exaltos, they are all seasons and in my experience are pretty decent in 3-6 inches of snow. I love Exaltos and they are worth every penny IMO.

Pros: decent in snow, worth it

i ran 215/35/18's NSII's on an 8.5 last year and they stretched well... drove them all over last season and when i sold them they were at about 70-75% tread life left... they rode good, they were quiet, and good in the rain. for what they are i couldnt complain.

Pros: rode good, quiet, good in rain

I can attest to the Michelin Pilot Sport A/S Plus. They are freekin excellent: grippy, grippy and predictable in the rain, really quiet, ride nice, and the treadwear warranty can't be beat.

Pros: grippy, predictable in rain

Summer tires are great in the rain. Michelin Pilot PS2's, Dunlop Sport Maxx's, Goodyear Eagles, Pirelli P-Zeros... any of those are going to be outstanding at high speed wet weather driving.

Pros: great in the rain

NANKANG Tires

Im running 195/40/17 on my Corrado. I was never a fan of 17's but absolutely fell in love with these ultra rare BBS's and decided to buy then and put them on anyways. Since I didnt want to rub I bought smaller yet still reasonable tires. They are made by nanking but your brands are limited with oddball sizes.

Pros: smaller yet reasonable
Cons: brands are limited

from observation running these pilot sports low under 35 psi will create wear on the outter edge of the tire if you have it around 38-37 front and 37-36 rear, your wear will be even

Pros: even wear at 38-37 psi
Cons: uneven wear under 35 psi
