I have Michelin Cross Climate 2 on both my midsized sedan Front Driver and our AWD Mazda CX-9 SUV and we are utterly safe and quiet and happy but we're not hitting tracks or corners at 0.8 G. My #1 priority is WET STOPPING. Where I live we get very little snow but they're said to handle it well also. They're quiet and smooth with solid steering feedback. And plenty of dry handling capabilities

Pros: utterly safe, quiet, happy, good wet stopping, handle snow well, smooth, solid steering feedback, go

MICHELIN Tires

Had these on my car and definitely worth the premium. Just switched over to crossclimate2 though bc I moved to a snowier climate and already miss the PSAS4

Pros: worth the premium

We bought a set of Michelin WeatherGuard tires at Costco. They are well worth it. We were able to drive in the mountains over ice and snow

Pros: well worth it, good in ice/snow

I ran the PSAS4 on my Audi Allroad (coming from the factory Continentals) and it made such a difference there's probably nothing else I'd rather run other than to try out the Conti DWS 06+ if it was significantly cheaper. I think the Michelin is just a better tire overall and their specialty tires are basically the leader in the industry.

Pros: made a difference, better overall

I went with Kuhmo Solus TA31 EV 215/55/17 and am very happy. Stock is 50 tall but due to rougher roads here and oncoming winter, I got a slight taller tire to better absorb road imperfections.

Pros: very happy, better absorb imperfections

Michelin X-Ice for me. They do great in slush and slop too - we got 11” of snow here in Minnesota a last spring and one of the kids and I drove around with shovels and kitty litter helping folks who were stuck, it was unbelievably fun - the Crosstrek is unstoppable with those tires.

Pros: great in slush, great in snow, unstoppable

My Road 6 barely lasted 13,000 miles.

I was impressed by the performance. They didn't last as long as everyone had hyped them to be.

Pros: impressed by performance
Cons: short lifespan
Mileage: 20921 km

I also have a 2024 Hyundai and it has the same Kumho tires. I have had 2 of the tires patched and a 3rd just went flat yesterday. I went to replace it and was told all 4 are so worn that it is a safety hazard to not replace them. I have only driven the car for 20,000 miles.

Cons: worn, safety hazard
Vehicle: Hyundai
Mileage: 20000 km
